As you approach the diamond, a rat dozing next to it wakes up, triggering an attack from the ghostly Haunted Tree.
The Haunted Tree possesses 20,000 health and goes through three phases during the fight. In Stage 1, it performs small area-of-effect attacks you can dodge easily. Keep striking it with the Fractured Sword to stun and land Critical Hits on its head.
In Stage 2, the tree will raise its roots to attack from a distance. You can evade its strikes by running around and hitting it with the sword.
Stage 3 brings the rat that stole the diamond into play. Capture the diamond from the rat and finish off the Haunted Tree without delay. If you ignore the diamond, the boss will grow stronger.
