Once you spawn, press the E key to pick up the Buddy NPC that’s right in front of you. Place Buddy into the nearby socket, which operates the lift and takes you up to the first floor. Make your way to the closest apartment. Equip the Pressure Cannon and Broom, and start cleaning the various rooms while on the lookout for Mulchpods. These pesky creatures can mimic anything from furniture to appliances, so make sure to spray everything in sight with the Pressure Cannon to reveal them.
When a Mulchpod is spotted, it’ll scurry around the room. Keep spraying it with the Pressure Cannon until it shows its real shape. Once it does, finish it off with the Broom.
Whenever you catch a Mulchpod, let your teammates know. Work together to take it down and swiftly transport it back to the powered Buddy in the hallway.
Continue the cleaning spree on the first floor as you hunt for more Mulchpods. There’s a timer showing how long you have left to clean, but don’t stress over it; your main focus should be on capturing those Mulchpods. Make sure to hand over the defeated creatures to Buddy after you’ve caught them.
Upon successfully delivering all 12 Mulchpods to Buddy, you’ll be rewarded with an event-exclusive badge for your efforts.
