Lost Host: Full Walkthrough of the Adventure

Welcome to this comprehensive Lost Host walkthrough!

In this atmospheric puzzle-platformer, you take on the role of a toy car aiming to find its lost owner, a boy who has mysteriously vanished. You’ll navigate through the home, creeping into foggy streets and desolate places, tackling physics-based challenges, tricky obstacles, and keeping away from perilous enemies. Chapter 1: The Disappearance

To get started, grab the first visible star as you proceed. The second star can be found atop the blue car.

As you make your way through, don’t forget to grab the star that’s clearly visible along your path. The second shiny star is perched right on top of that blue car, so keep your eyes peeled!

Drop down from the car and head toward the bridge to conclude this section.

Mark’s Room

Slide to the right and along the table to converse with the green army figure.

Check the shelves on the left for another star, then climb onto the bed for yet another star.

Head over to the bedside table, grab the star on the box, and you can exit the room.

Make your way over to the bedside table and snag the star that’s resting on the box. This little treasure will let you exit the room, so let’s get moving!

Corridor Room

Ascend the left ramp and recover the star from the sofa. Stay cautious as the radio will create static if you approach it.

Collect the star from the left sofa, right next to a shop displaying a blue soldier. If you’ve gathered 7 stars, obtain the Max Health Up here. Then, check out the basket featuring the boy’s picture and find an open vent nearby to drop into the laundry room.

If you’ve collected 7 stars, it’s time to treat yourself to the Max Health Up from the store. Afterward, drop down and head over to the basket featuring the boy’s picture and give it a good inspection. Look out behind you for an open air vent, and hop on in to find yourself in the laundry room.

Laundry Room

Your next adventure is to climb over the washing machine and the detergent powders, then flip the light on. Once you do that, shimmy down and head over to the paintings. To the right, there’s a star waiting for you. If you don the hat, you’re in for a delightful little easter egg! Be sure to check out the note on the floor and the flashlight too. Now, navigate upward over the paintings and collect both stars before hopping down. Head to the mousetrap and spring it to bounce up onto the towels on your right. From there, go up the towels, grab the star on the table, and then drop into the sink. Turn left from the shampoo rack and hop over the laundry basket to find your way out of the room.

Living Room

Here, a robot vacuum will patrol the area. Navigate around it and climb onto the skateboard.

Inside this room, you’ll notice a robot vacuum starting its cleaning routine. Be sure to maneuver around it and make your way up onto the skateboard for some fun movement!

Find the way to the garage

Scale the stools and the kitchen counter to retrieve a heart. Next, hop onto the coffee table, causing it to crumble. Use the debris to reach the sofa for another star, then climb the guitar and locate another star to the right. Avoid the open stoves as you pass the microwave, heading toward the vent on the left.

Garage

Go straight past the car to find a star beneath the plank. Push the crate onto the pressure switch to proceed.

Ascend the ramp leading to the missing child poster and make your way to the right. Push the plank down to create a bridge onto the car. Move over the vehicle and past the piggy bank. Climb the books to speak with the bus.

Head to the right over the ore to scoop up another star. Drop down and retrieve the wheel from the cabinet before returning to the bus. Hand over the wheel to let the bus move, then call the garage door to open. Proceed to drive out and leave the garage.

Make your way to the right, hopping over the ore, and snag that star waiting for you. Then, drop down and grab the wheel from the cabinet nearby. Once you’ve got it, head back up to the bus and hand it over to him so he can get moving. Next, call on that garage door to swing open for you. Finally, drop down and take your newly acquired ride for a spin to exit the garage. Enjoy the open road ahead!

Garden

Climb the ramp located near the acetylene cylinder to find a heart and a star, then you’ll need to get the dog’s attention.

Find something to distract the dog

Move to the back of the garden towards the patio, ascending the ramps above the air conditioning units. The final ramp will direct air to propel you toward the picnic table.

Snatch the sausage from the table.

Make your way to the back of the garden, using the sausage as bait to encourage the dog to move. Drive through carefully, navigating past the sprinklers – be mindful of them – then climb over the white rock formation and up the ramp to retrieve a star from the high voltage box.

Drop down to reach the sandbox for another star, then ascend the slide to hop over the fence.

Your first left will direct you to a shop. Here, you can purchase an additional Max Health Up. Move straight, traversing over the pictures and boxes. Ascend the no-entry sign, then proceed to the right over the blackboard toward the street. Look for a van on your right with a Lithuanian license plate. Climb onto it to collect another star, then drop down and strike up a conversation with the blue car. Win a race against it to snag the Forklift key.

Street

Follow the green arc path to secure your victory. It might take a couple of attempts, so don’t be disheartened! Once you’ve got the key, navigate to the right side of the street, past the hopscotch area, and ascend the ramp for another star. Climb into the glass and over the boxes to collect another star, then drop down to collect a star and heart from the pipes on the right. Exit, then advance past the open manhole to scale the dumpster. Drop down onto the wooden planks to snag a star and heart. To your left is the forklift; make your way around to the backside and up the ramp on the right to claim another star at the bus stop. Circle back to the forklift, get on the plank, and wait for it to elevate you.

Simply stick to the path marked by those green arcs, and you’ll find victory is within your grasp! It might take a few attempts to get the hang of it, but don’t sweat it. Once you’ve secured the key, make your way to the right side of the street, past the hopscotch area, and up the ramp to discover a star waiting for you. Go up on the glass and over the boxes to snag yet another star. Then drop down and check out the pipes on the right to find a star and a heart. Venturing back, you’ll want to slide by the open manhole and up onto the dumpster. Drop down onto the wooden planks to collect both a star and a heart. To the left, you’ll see a forklift – head over there and make your way to the other side. Climb up the ramp on the right to get your hands on another star located at the bus stop. Circle back to the forklift, jump onto the plank, and just wait for it to lift you up. You’re doing great!

Navigate straight ahead down the ramp to reach the S ramp. Ascend through the seesaw and drive over the piano to collect a star.

Dream

Continue on, picking up stars until you find the boy’s photo, which will help you wake up.
