Once those tools are ready, use them to gather more materials, including logs and rocks. Finding a Stone Shiv will also be key as it allows you to break into locked doors and crates, revealing more resources like cloth for crafting a bow.

Collecting Arrows From The Target.

Once you’ve crafted a bow, pick up arrows from the targets outside the cabin. Use your new weapon to hunt deer for meat, bone, and skin—essential supplies to keep you going as you prepare for the challenges ahead.

Entering Horizon marks your next significant quest. After hunting, make your way to the Horizon safe zone. Interact with the characters to learn where to go next and how to prepare more food.

The Collapsed Moon.

At Horizon, meet Robyn in her office. Here, you’ll find out more about fixing the safe zone’s main antenna—not just for yourself but for the community of survivors.

Once the food is ready, give it to Robyn to complete your deal with her. Now that you’re well-fed, prepare for the journey to repair the antenna back in the wasteland.

After leaving Horizon, make your way to the Bone Cave. There, care for the wounded dog you find, as he’ll become your companion throughout your trials.

A New Home is your next objective, and it’s time to establish a safe base in this unforgiving landscape. To do this, focus on cutting down trees and gathering wood. You’ll need foundations and walls to get started on your shelter. Start with two wooden foundations for stability.

As you build your home, ensure you have enough resources for a bed and wooden storage to keep your supplies organized and safe. Remember to craft a workbench for upgrading your tools, allowing you to craft stronger equipment and keep pace with the game’s growing challenges.

To create your home, you will need a lot of wood. Use your axe and start cutting down trees and logs to get enough material. First, place down two wooden foundations (10 wood in total), then place wooden walls across five of its ends. For the sixth end, place a wooden doorway. Now, add a wooden door to the doorway, then place the wooden roof to complete your home.

At this point, you’ll want to start mining for flint and copper ore to create more advanced equipment. Head back to the Bone Cave with your tools and keep gathering resources.
