Exploring the Church Outskirts
Start at the Bus Depot and head west past the stairs leading to the Church. You’ll find a door for the Parish Home—head inside.
Inside the Parish Home, grab the Flower Shop Key from the table on your right. It’s helpful for later.
Go back out and break the padlock on the door to the left. In there, you’ll find a Coffee Pot and the Church Hill Map.
The Church Hill Map is worth examining as it details the layout of this area.
Leave the Parish Home, go left to the end of the street, and jump off the railing to the left. Then unlock the door nearby leading to the Lighthouse area; we’ll return here later.
Go right and climb over the railing to return to Church Hill Street. Take the steps next to the Parish Home to reach the Chapel Grounds.
To the right is the locked gate of the Chapel Tower. You’ll see a rotatable cube there—this area is key later on.
Check the stairs to the left leading to the confessional. There’s a wind chime visible through a locked door.
From the main Church door, go right into the next room to meet the Sheriff. Talk to him before picking up the Metal Cube on the table.
From the main door of the Church, head right and through the door. You’ll find the Sheriff waiting for you. Talk to him.
After the conversation, continue right, into the next room. Pick up the Metal Cube from the table.
Exit the Church and return to the main street. To the left, make your way up the steps next to the Bus Depot. You’ll soon see the Funeral Home.
Hop the fence to the right and down the steps to grab a wind chime. Finally, enter the Funeral Home.
Right inside, notice the poster of Father Jacob Foster; his necklace has the same symbol as cubes you’ll encounter later. Snap a photo with your Camera—it’ll be useful later.
Both doors on the right side are locked on the first and second floors.
Exit the Funeral Home and proceed up the street to the Flower Shop. Use the Flower Shop Key to unlock the door.
Take note of the prices on White Lilies (7), Red Roses (5), and Bluebells (2), then hop over the counter to break through to the next room.
Collect the Funeral Home Family Key and remember to return to the entrance.
Chat with the NPC before leaving to explore more.
You’ll spot the Cemetery gate to the left going up the main street, but it’s currently locked.
Obtaining the Cemetery Key
Go to the second floor of the Funeral Home and use the Funeral Home Family Key to unlock the door. Brace yourself; a wave of monsters awaits.
Press on into the next room; a hole in the ground leads back to the locked door on the first floor. Jump over the gap to find a Funeral Home Dossier Note ahead.
Head through the door to the north to grab the Funeral Home Code Note from a mirror stating Lily, Rose, Bluebell, which relates to the flower prices from the Flower Shop. Check the wall for cracks that can be broken later.
Exit the room and access the door on your right. Two enemies await, but there’s also a first aid cabinet containing a Healing Tonic to help you recover.
Leave the room and head through the door to the right. There are two enemies here and a first aid cabinet where you’ll find a Healing Tonic.
Return to the hole in the floor and drop down. Then, continue through the door on your left.
Inside, you can grab the Cemetery Key from the coffin. Proceed left to unlock the door connecting back to the first floor.
Obtaining the Sledgehammer & the Crank Handle
Exit the Funeral Home and head to the Cemetery. Use the Cemetery Key to unlock the gate and enter. You’ll see a Sledgehammer propped against the well’s wall.
The Sledgehammer is a solid melee weapon and can smash cracked walls. The one to the right in the Cemetery opens up a greenhouse, but you’ll need to fend off enemies inside.
Head back to the main street of Church Hill, jump off the railing again, and move through the hole in the wall.
Break through the wall to your right to discover the Crank Handle on a table. Grab it before continuing.
Leave through the hole and go left to find a Journal of Father Foster note near some water. Swim left to grab a Memento Vessel Shard.
Return to the Cemetery and use the Crank Handle on the well.
Stomp on the eel you find and investigate it to obtain the final Metal Cube.
Obtaining the Funeral Home Metal Cube
Re-enter the Funeral Home and traverse to the right on the first floor until you reach the drop-in point. The Cremation Trolley there is essential for moving coffins between floors.
Check the Stairwell door near the elevator. Use the code 752 (flower prices) to unlock it.
Before entering the Stairwell, explore the room on your right. You’ll find a Cremation Machine and a movable Stretcher. Activate the machine if you want to see its functionality.
Proceed to the Stairwell and check the left room for some Gasoline. Descend the stairs and go through the door.
Inspect the Mortician’s Ledger on the table to learn about Cremation Trolleys and that Jacob Foster is in Casket Number 2.
Go left and call the elevator using the intercom. Continue left afterward.
Reach the left side to find a movable stretcher. Bring it to Casket Number 2 and load it onto the stretcher.
Move the stretcher to the Cremation Trolley for an easy transfer.
Run back to the first floor and use the Stretcher on the right to transfer the body into the Cremation Machine. Don’t be afraid to activate it once it’s all set.
Hop into the Cremation Machine via the hole to find the last Metal Cube.
Obtaining the Cable Station Bell (B)
Head back to the Chapel Tower. Insert all the Metal Cubes into their respective slots and rotate them to match the necklace’s pattern seen in the photo of Father Jacob.
This will open the Chapel Tower door. Climb to the top to find a Diary Page next to the bell. When you’re ready, ring the bell.
Everything turns red around you. Now, carefully climb back down the Chapel Tower. Watch your step to avoid falls that can instantly kill you.
The world around you turns red. Now you must climb back down the Chapel Tower. Be careful not to fall off, and always check the path below you by aiming with your weapon. A fall to the bottom is enough to kill you.
Once at the bottom, a Storage Container is available for final preparations. Move through the hole to continue your journey.
Don’t expect a boss fight at the Church. Instead, you’ll face waves of enemies. Utilizing your Rifle or one of your Shotguns is highly recommended.
Once you’ve dealt with all enemies, proceed through the door on your left to collect the Cable Station Bell.
