- Ride the elevator and face the Fallen Dragon
- Defeat the Fallen Dragon and save Rovall
- The End
- Or is it?
Ride the elevator up to face the Fallen Dragon. Before you do this, it’s vital to ensure you’ve fully prepared for the challenge that lies ahead.
Make sure you’ve upgraded every piece of equipment, hired the strongest Pawn available, and built a well-balanced party. Also, stock up on healing items and potions — this is a must for sustaining during the intense fight ahead.
Once prepared, make your way to Mordria Temple toward the elevator Eir mentioned. She’ll be waiting for you at the top to assist in the final confrontation.
Interact with the lever to call the elevator. As you ascend, Eir will take this moment to thank you for your unwavering support throughout her quest.
After reaching the top, follow the path to confront the Fallen Dragon, which awaits in the shadows of the temple.
Eir walks toward the slumbering dragon, calling for her master to awaken, which sets the scene for an epic battle.
In the encounter, the Fallen Dragon, despite having its heart restored, retains its terrifying form with various limbs — a neck, legs, and wings. These are the parts you will need to target for damage.
Focus your attacks on these limbs, as they are the only areas vulnerable to damage. Once you inflict sufficient harm to a limb, it becomes destroyed and doesn’t regenerate.
During the fight, be ready for the Fallen Dragon’s blue fire beam attack, which it typically starts with. You can dodge it or simply sidle up close to avoid it.
Be aware of its ability to summon white orbs that explode. Keep your distance from these to avoid unnecessary damage.
If you’re comfortable engaging the dragon up close, be cautious of its ground slams and tail sweeps that can knock you back. Mind these patterns as you attack.
Typically, the legs will be the first limbs you’ll want to take down, so focus your efforts there. Afterward, shift your attention to the neck and wings.
The neck makes an excellent target for climbing and attacking. Secure a hold, inflict damage, and if you deal enough, you can stun the dragon, leaving it vulnerable.
Small ghoul enemies will emerge during the battle; take them down immediately to prevent being overwhelmed.
When the dragon’s health drops, its heart will flash red briefly; attack then for substantial damage and a chance to stun again.
Sneak close to the dragon and wait for the heart exposure to stab it, maximizing your position.
As you chip away more at its health, the wings will become a tougher target. If you’re melee-focused, climb and stab; ranged players will have an easier time hitting them from a distance.
Upon victory, the dragon’s heart remains visible and seemingly alive. Eir channels her powers, transforming into a dragon herself.
As she bites the heart, it vanishes, leaving the outcome unresolved.
But the adventure doesn’t end here—watch for a cryptic message urging you to vanquish a new challenge.
From here, return to your last save at the village inn for an unexpected twist.
Since this opening doesn’t last long, you may want to grab onto the dragon and wait near its chest until the heart is exposed, then stab it.
The final limbs you will probably struggle to hit are the wings. If you’re using a melee build, grab onto the dragon and keep stabbing the wings.
If you’re using a ranged build, you should have an easier time hitting them from a distance.
Eventually, after using multiple revives, potions, and recovery items, you will manage to bring the Fallen Dragon down, triggering a cutscene.
The End
After you defeat the dragon, its heart will remain exposed and appear to still be alive. Eir channels her powers, causing her eyes to turn red, before marching toward the dragon.
As she approaches, she transforms into a dragon and bites the heart, causing it to disappear.
We have no explanation for why Eir transforms this way, but it seems to work. You will see the remains of the heart vanish before the credits begin to roll.
