Overview
Ride a Dino has a straightforward gameplay loop: catch a dino and place it in your pet pen. To catch a dino, head to the field and hop onto the back of a stampeding dinosaur or use one in your pet pen as your starting dino. As your dinosaur crosses the field, the green meter representing your Stamina continuously depletes. At the same time, a pink meter indicating your capture progress fills up.
Your goal is to manage both of these meters effectively. If your Stamina meter empties, your avatar will be launched forward, potentially throwing you off in the field. Make sure your Capture meter fills up before your Stamina runs out to successfully add the dino to your collection.
The game lets you hop from one dino to the next using the Jump button. Each jump resets your Stamina meter, allowing you to traverse the field without getting stuck. Capture as many dinosaurs as you can while successfully navigating the area. Captured dinos will go to your inventory.
Once your run ends, return to your pet pen and place the captured dinos inside. These dinosaurs will generate cash for you passively, which can be used for upgrades and item purchases. Continue on your runs to find the rarest dinosaurs and maximize your earnings.

Keep in mind that training isn’t manual — it happens automatically once you interact with the machine. Feel free to let your avatar train for a bit to boost your Stamina.
- Fusion: Combine multiple dinosaurs of the same type in the Fuse Machine to create a more powerful version that generates more cash. When you fuse three dinos, they become unavailable and a larger fused dino appears.
- Auras: Purchase Auras at the Aura Shop to enhance your Stamina level. Each Aura costs Cash and provides a Stamina multiplier while equipped. You can swap them around to suit your style.
- Index rewards: Capturing a dino for the first time unlocks its Index entry, granting a one-time reward that includes Cash and improved Stamina levels. This is an easy way to earn some quick cash and raise your stamina early on.
