Goblins can appear on any island in the main world at random times. Once you see the notification, sail to that island and interact with the Goblin. It’ll offer you the choice between an Easy and Normal mission, and after completing it, you’ll be rewarded with Candy Corns.
After you’re done with the Goblin, head back to Moosewood, hop onto the ghostly boat again, and return to the event island. Instead of going to the Pumpkin King, run directly to Beatrix, the witch, and deposit all your Candy Corn into her cauldron by holding the E key.
Once you’ve deposited the Candy Corn, you’ll receive some Halloween-exclusive items. Afterward, interact with the Pumpkin King again to complete this second mission.
The final task from the Pumpkin King involves placing spooky markers. While it sounds simple, this part can be time-consuming since you’ll need to sail to several islands: Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Snowcap Island, Castaway Cliffs, and Forsaken Shores.

Once you’ve placed all the markers, return to the Pumpkin King once again and select the initial dialogue option to wrap up the quest. Completing this will reward you with a special badge!
