Head to the underground music venue in Fisch to find the Tormentor NPC who kicks off the Oppressor Rod quest. This is a hidden gem not immediately visible to most players. You might miss it if you’re just running around, so take your time to explore—it’s worth it.
As you arrive in the venue, keep an eye out for the NPC named Ken Carson on stage. To reach the Tormentor, you’ll need to click on the Duskwire Rod nestled beside him, but there’s a catch: it only works during the Tropical Squall weather event. Plan your visit accordingly to avoid frustration.
Grab a Tropical Squall Totem for 800,000 C$ from Elder Kaido or Elder Kao’s weekly shop on Skycrest, then use it to start the weather event. This little preparation is key to unlocking what you need.
Locating the Tormentor NPC is crucial for progressing in the Venue Encore update. While it may seem challenging initially, understanding the necessary steps and environmental conditions will ease your journey.
