Your adventure in Loftia is beautifully crafted with layers of exploration and crafting waiting for you. Use this beginner guide to get started on your journey!

Starting Out

To kick things off, your first mission is to hunt down five screws and some discarded plastic. You can find these little treasures just hanging out in the back alley that Milo pointed you towards. Look out for those scrap plastics—they’ll catch your eye as empty bottles scattered around. And don’t forget to sift through the cardboard boxes for the screws; they like to hide in there!

Once you’ve got that sorted, it’s time to move on to finding some scrap wire and clay. Head over to the construction site, which is just a straightforward stroll from Milo’s shop. While you’re there, keep your eyes peeled for clay, which is lying around waiting for you to scoop it up. After that, venture northwest to the solar farm to snag the scrap wire you need. Just imagine all the awesome things you can create with these materials!

After you’ve wrapped up your collection tasks, it’s time to have a chat with Pebble. Once you share your progress, they’ll guide you back to your neighborhood. Don’t forget to check the name board outside, as it will lead you right into your very own house. Home sweet home, right? It’s time to settle in and get to work!

Once inside, enter decoration mode and arrange the bed and project station in your house. This project station is vital for crafting items. You’ll receive a battery, which will deplete as you create new items, but don’t worry—you can recharge it using the solar panel outside your home.

Your first crafting mission is to create a hammer using the collected screws and plastic discards. This tool is essential for salvaging resources from breakable objects. Initially, you can only break smaller items, but upgrading your hammer allows you to tackle larger objects later. Take some time to clean up around your house; it improves your working space.

Your next big project is to craft a hammer. You’ll put those gathered screws and plastic discards to good use here! This handy tool will allow you to salvage resources from various breakable objects scattered around your surroundings. But be cautious! If you encounter any particularly large items, you’ll need a sturdier hammer. It’s a good idea to tidy up the area around your house while you’re at it—make it feel like home!

How To Grow Crops

After getting your hammer situation sorted, you’ll come across Hazel, who’s super keen on gardening. She’ll introduce you to the wonderful world of growing crops and will even pass you some lettuce seeds to get started! Set up a garden bed on your farm and go ahead and plant those seeds. You’re on your way to becoming a gardening guru!

Now, before you can keep your crops happy and hydrated, you’ll need to craft a watering can. Head over to the project station to whip one up using metal scraps, scrap wire, and that clay you picked up! Once your crops are planted, a little patience is needed because they’ll take some time to grow. When they’re ready to be harvested, just pop them into the shipping bin and let the world enjoy your gardening efforts!

How To Cook

Kun is counting on you to whip up some delicious carrot soup and send it off! Start by planting those carrot seeds in your garden bed. While you’re waiting for them to sprout, why not get busy setting up a handy cooking station? Time flies when you’re crafting!

Find a cozy spot in your house to place that cooking station. Now, to whip up the carrot soup, you’ll need a couple of carrots. When you’re ready to cook, keep an eye on the stirring process—just keep tapping that stir button to maintain the spoon in the sweet spot of the green area. Once you’ve got two servings of carrot soup, toss them in the shipping bin for delivery!

Permits

Have a chat with Amani to dive into the world of Permits! These little gems are your keys to enhancing your inventory limits, letting you add more garden beds, energy stations, and other cool things around Loftia. Keep an eye out for a few extra permits—although they’re not available right now, they’ll open up new possibilities for you. Meanwhile, use your dew wisely to snag more garden beds!

Need to fill up your watering can? You’ve got options! Swing by the rain collector located in town, or if you’re feeling crafty, you can make one of your very own right at home. It’s always good to have a full can ready to keep your garden thriving!

The First Sprout Quest Walkthrough

Alright, it’s time to gather some more materials! You’ll need to hunt for clay and scrap wood again. Head over to the construction site, where you can break down old boxes to score some scrap wood. Happy scavenging!

Once you’re back home, head to your project station and craft a second garden bed with the goodies you’ve collected. After that, take a moment to speak with Hazel once you place it. Don’t forget to plant your seeds and touch base with Amani in town too!

Permission To Glide Quest Walkthrough

Kick off this quest by having a chat with Cliff. After that, head over to Milo. He’s going to ask you to gather some resources, and don’t worry because you already know where to find most of what you need! Metal scraps and scrap wood are easy to locate. For tires, you can pop over to the solar farm; just break through a pile of them, and you’ll snag one. Lastly, pull some weeds at The Hill, and you’ll gather those plant fibers you need. Happy scavenging!

Now that you’ve gathered all your materials, it’s time to set up a refining station. Head back to your neighborhood and get ready to craft one. This handy station allows you to turn those raw materials into something way more useful. You can process metal plates, planks, straw, and rubber here. Once you’ve finished crafting and refining your stuff, swing by and have a chat with Milo to keep the quest moving forward!

Meet Ryder

It’s time to take a trip to the adventure dock and meet up with Ryder. Your mission is to collect scrambled coordinates that are scattered throughout the city—specifically, you’ll need to gather three of them. Keep your eyes peeled as you scour the town for resources; you might just stumble upon these coordinates while on your scavenging spree!

One of the exciting parts awaits as you head to the adventure dock to meet Ryder. Your task involves locating three scrambled coordinates scattered throughout the city. These can be found by salvaging items around the town.

Try breaking objects at the Solar Farm, Scrap Quarter, and Construction Site; each region will yield one of the coordinates. After accumulating all three, meet Ryder again to unlock the adventure ship, which opens up new opportunities for further exploration in Loftia.

Adventure Awaits!

Hop aboard the adventure ship to tackle several missions within a time limit. Completing these tasks will help you progress, but don’t worry if you don’t finish every single one; they aren’t mandatory. Interact with the beacons, which resemble giant towers, to energize them using your battery.

You’ll also need to repair certain devices known as seismic sonars using your hammer, which look like mechanical components surrounded by boxes. Successfully completing tasks earns you rewards such as blooms.

To complete the Gauntlet – On and On and On, use your hammer on three switches to unlock access to a bloom that was previously guarded. Each bloom lets you gather item fragments, which can be turned into a unique clothing item upon collection.

Once you find the energy beacons, you’ll need to give them a boost using your battery—just interact with them, and you’ll energize them. They’re pretty easy to spot since they look like giant towers! Next up, grab your hammer and get to work on repairing the seismic sonars, which resemble mechanical devices nestled among boxes. Completing these tasks will be worth your while because you’ll earn a bloom as a reward!

To tackle the Gauntlet – On and On and On, you’ll want to whip out your hammer to hit three switches. This will grant you access to a bloom that was previously held back by a pesky barrier. Once you’ve claimed this bloom, you’ll also earn an item fragment as a bonus. Collect enough of these fragments, and you’ll unlock a unique clothing item to flaunt!

Craft A Glider

To craft a glider, talk to Cliff, who will provide you with the blueprint. Start by breaking a microwave at the Solar Farm to collect Glass Cullet. Then, at your refining station, craft Rubber and Straw. Don’t forget to collect ten tires and some plant fibers as well before heading back.

With everything gathered, craft the glider at your project station. To soar through the skies, just press space again after you jump. After you’ve done that, be sure to report back to Cliff.

Head on over to the project station and craft yourself a glider. It’s a nifty tool for soaring through the skies! To take advantage of your new glider, make sure to hit the space bar again right after you jump. Once you’re feeling like a pro, don’t forget to report back to Cliff to keep him in the loop!
