A Call From The Gardens
Crafting Collector Rod And Pruners
Head to the scrap quarters to collect screws and plastic discards for crafting Pruners. You’ll also find metal scraps that you can refine into metal plates. Once you have everything, craft your Pruner.

Return to Hanging Gardens to gather Rattan from the Bamboo Forest and Upper Village by cutting down the small palm-like trees. Look out for Jute, which you can collect from ropes scattered across different areas of the gardens.
Let’s head back to the Hanging Gardens, where some exciting resources await you! You can snag Rattan from the Bamboo Forest and Upper Village, just make sure to chop down the small trees adorned with palm-like leaves while you’re out adventuring. For Jute, keep an eye out for ropes lying around in different spots across the gardens; they’re scattered just waiting for you to pick them up.
Use the plastic discards at the refining station to create usable materials. Once you’ve crafted your Collector Rod, show it to Kassim to kickstart your fishing adventures in Loftia.
How To Catch Fish
Field Research
After speaking with Kassim, head to one of the research stations marked on your map. Each station has a unique bundle to complete. The Central Lake research bundle is a good starting point; you just need to catch a few nearby fish.

Chat with Kassim again, then assist Joanna, Kun, and Hazel with their field notes. Kun will need you to craft a level 2 hammer to break a giant rock near the overgrowth. You can find the recipe at the central lake research station. Catch a few more fish there to complete the fish bundle for the recipe reward.
For the Hammer, gather copper scraps from the lower and upper villages, as well as the Grove in Hanging Gardens.
Hazel will request three clovers, typically found near her garden. Once you collect them, she’ll also ask for flower pots. To craft these, you’ll need two Adobe, which you can produce in the refining station using clay. Prepare four flower pots and plant the flowers you gathered in them!
To wrap things up, you’ll need to upgrade your project station to level 2. Start by obtaining a level 2 battery. This requires refining mushroom leather, which you can gather from Portobello Mushrooms located on the hills in Loftia City. Harvest them with your Pruners.
Joanna will ask you to search for clues regarding a missing dog. You’ll need to interact with dirt patches surrounded by mushrooms, doing this five times will lead you to a dog bowl hidden behind a tree. Fill it with lettuce and carrots, name the dog, and then talk to Joanna again.
