Fisch Black Fairy Rod Quest 1 Answers and How to Get Them

Bring forth an ancient covered in moss: Look for the Mossy Ancient Wood. It’s available around Sunstone Island and has no specific bait or timing needs. To catch the Mossy mutation, use the Elder Mossripper rod, which has a 15% base chance for normal catches, increasing to 100% when its passive ability kicks in.

Find the crystal creature, rotting from within: This points you to the Rotting Gem Blobfish, found at Treasure Island at any time or weather using Crab Cages or Golden Shrimp Bait. You need to reel it in with the Splitbranch Twig rod, which offers a 35% chance of acquiring the Rotting mutation directly.

Two teeth swallowed by the depths that refuse the dark: The target here is the Shiny Depths Key. You can fish this during the day at Vertigo’s Dip or from a Strange Whirlpool with Magnet bait. For the Shiny style, appraise a normal Depths Key during a Shiny Surge at Moosewood, or catch it while boosting Shiny odds with the Destiny Rod, Blessed or Glittered enchantments, or in Rainbow weather.

If you’re on the hunt for some Ancient Wood, make your way to the serene shores of Sunstone Island – it’s the perfect spot to reel this item in. The great thing about Ancient Wood is that it doesn’t have any specific needs when it comes to bait, the kind of weather, the season, or even the time of day. It’s quite easygoing! However, catching the unique Mossy mutation requires a bit of finesse since it’s not something you can appraise. You’ll need to equip yourself with the Elder Mossripper rod available in Fisch. With this rod, you’ll enjoy a decent 15% base chance for a normal catch, but when its passive ability kicks in, you’re guaranteed a 100% chance to snag it!

Gem Blobfish lovers, you’re in luck! Head over to Treasure Island to catch this elusive creature anytime, day or night, without worrying about the weather. Simply set out some Crab Cages or grab your rod and use Golden Shrimp Bait to get started. It’s worth noting that the Rotting mutation can’t be appraised – so you can’t just assess it and hope for the best! Instead, you’ll want to directly snag it using the Splitbranch Twig rod. This handy rod gives you a 35% chance to land that mutation on your catch, making it a must-have for dedicated anglers!

Are you ready for an underwater adventure? You can fish up the Depths Key in Fisch during the day, specifically at the enchanting location known as Vertigo’s Dip. Alternatively, you can also pull it directly from a Strange Whirlpool out in the Ocean if you’ve got some Magnet bait at the ready. Now, if your goal is to snag the coveted Shiny attribute, there’s a bit of a process. You can bring a standard Depths Key to the Appraiser located at Moosewood during a Shiny Surge event, and they’ll help you out. If that’s not an option, don’t worry! You can still catch one naturally, while boosting your Shiny odds by using the Destiny Rod in Fisch, along with Blessed or Glittered enchantments, or when the weather is favorably Rainbow.

Retrieve the ocean’s ruined flower of decay: This refers to the Oceans Ruin Rotbloom. It’s captured only in the Rotbloom Hunt pool in the Toxic Grove during Autumn, using Luminous Larva or Thorn Cluster bait. Use the Thalassar’s Ruin rod for a better chance, which provides a 30% mutation application through its fishing minigame.

Where the drowned giant broke its spine, claim a splinter of its forgotten bones: The final answer is the Wooden Plank located at Castaway Cliffs. Head east to find a sunken ship marked by a fishbone flag. From there, use your Fisch GPS with these coordinates (XYZ): 883.1, 31.8, -1928.2 to locate the plank.
