Echo Weaver Fixing The Lake Pumphouse Guide

Master the Fixing the Lake Pumphouse quest in Echo Weaver with these essential tips and step-by-step instructions.

Echo Weaver combines action and adventure in a beautifully crafted 2D world filled with tricky puzzles and vast exploration opportunities. Players might find themselves puzzled at times, particularly when transitioning from one area to another. This game really emphasizes environmental storytelling, so pay attention; it can help clear up some of the more challenging parts.

While journeying through Echo Weaver, it’s easy to feel lost or even waste valuable resources if you’re not careful. Many players, myself included, often underestimate the significance of certain keys and crystals that unlock new paths. Make sure you keep an eye out for these items; they’re crucial for moving forward.

Before diving into the depths of the game, I suggest you grab the Glaive early on. It’s indispensable for solving puzzles and defeating enemies that stand in your way. Trust me, you won’t want to be without it!

Though the Fixing the Lake Pumphouse quest is pivotal, you won’t automatically receive it upon entering the Lower Chapel. Progress further until it becomes available; this is the next major quest that propels the story forward.

Upon reaching the Lower Chapel, navigate up instead of heading right. If you go right, you’ll trigger an ambush from Verrik, leading to a release of poisonous gas that’ll cut your exploration short. Instead, move left until you spot a crystal. Use your Glaive to strike it and cut down a rope, allowing you access to progress ahead.

When you cut the rope with the Glaive, Verrik will quickly retaliate by unleashing poisonous gas, leaving you in a race against time to escape. Don’t engage the enemies here; it’s a waste of time and resources. Your main goal is to drop down and escape the area. Make sure you grab a crystal before you teleport back to the Lower Chapel in your next cycle. After you teleport back, continue upwards while avoiding confrontations. Break another rope with your Glaive and follow the left path. If you reach the area above, head left again and keep making progress while evading monster encounters. Continue to run past enemies, leap onto the upper platform, and trigger the launch mechanic. There’s a crystal on the right you should collect to also employ the Glaive to open the path towards the left.

Keep moving northwest while ignoring minor obstacles. If one of those annoying enemies starts pestering you, a good strategy is to stay out of its range while lobbing your Glaive to deal with it effectively. After dealing with the interloper, progress further up and then dive to use your Glaive to open up a passage on the left. From there, head right and utilize the Folding mechanic. Be aware that a box with a spike trap will activate, so be quick with your movements.

Activate the switches in unison; simply throw your Glaive at them from a short distance, disabling the red barrier. When the box reaches the left, execute the launch mechanic to continue.

Welcome to The Wash! This area is where you’ll find new objectives. First, glide to the right; the gate may be locked, so collect the crystal at the bottom before heading left to sync your Glaive. It’s essential to take your Glaive with you as you explore this region; it can save you some significant hassle!

After syncing, your next move is to go left again. You have to be cautious of enemies that will rush you, but a well-timed jump can clear them out from above. Always be sure to hurl your Glaive toward the left and take the path down.

Keep pressing onward. You’ll need to access a gate located on the left; however, the key can be found on the right. You can dive to grab it but try moving upwards first to collect mini crystals. Once you have them, make the dive to snatch the key. Although you must leave your Glaive momentarily, that’s part of the game’s strategy.

With the key in hand, go unlock that gate and retrieve your Glaive immediately after. Moving left from there will lead you into the village of Refuge.

As soon as you set foot in Refuge, venture left to meet Intermind. A drop from here on the left will create an accessible shortcut back to Refuge, saving time later on. You can hurl your Glaive straight up from the spawn point and use the Folding mechanic to reach the village effortlessly. Be careful of the trash hole further left; you can only fall in by diving, which could mean having to restart a cycle if you do. Ascend past this and you’ll discover a house with a Burning Enth outside.

When you make it to Vestry, keep heading left to find a new area known as Arboretum. As you proceed, pick up two crystals you’ll encounter along the route. After collecting the second crystal, a platform will crack. Decide whether to continue right or left thereafter.

When you decide to go left, gather mini crystals along the way, as they expand your resources. If you choose right, look for the sync area to power up your Glaive again, and be sure to collect any essential items on your way.

Once you have the crystal, unlock that memory and toss your Glaive to the right while performing Folding. Then move left and descend further down. In doing this, toss your Glaive once again and ensure you’ve called it back before heading up, as the red barrier should now be a thing of the past.

Utilize this opening to toss your Glaive through and replace it in the machinery above. Activate the switch and return to retrieve your Glaive, then keep pressing forward with the quest.

Near the Burning Enth, look for an item suspended above. Hurl your Glaive to grab it and reach the upper platform using Folding. This should lead you to the item known as Remnant of a Weaver. Bypass any obstacles on the left and return back to the sync point of the Glaive for a continued leftward journey.

To get across from the Burning Enth, throw your Glaive leftward once more, and then use Folding to get to the alternate path. Jump on the path above whenever you reach the new side to ensure you’re on track for your next challenge.

The easiest way to take it down is to move out of its reach and hurl the Glaive in its direction a couple of times. Then, go to the northwest side, open the path, dive, and hurl your Glaive toward the left side of the area. Head right and perform the Folding mechanic. Then, perform the launch mechanic, and do note that the box with the spike trap will activate.

So, by performing slides and jumps, move ahead until you reach the switches that you need to activate together. Simply throw the Glaive without hurling it. Upon doing that, the red barrier will deactivate. Wait for the box to reach the left side, and then use the launch mechanic.

Exploring The Wash

The Wash in Echo Weaver – Fixing the Lake Pumphouse quest.

Now, you are inside the new area, The Wash. As you head toward the right side, you will see a new objective. The gate will be locked, so pick up the crystal from the bottom side and then head left to sync your Glaive. Once you have synced your Glaive, make sure to take it with you before heading forward. Go up and follow the path toward the left side.

Now, before falling down, head left to find a crystal that will extend the loop. Then, head down and go up again. Do note that an enemy will rush toward you, so make sure to jump over it and hit it from behind. Then, hurl your Glaive toward the left side and head down.

Continue progressing further ahead, and you will notice that you need to open a gate on the left side. The key will be on the right side, so you can simply get it by diving. However, head up first to collect all the mini crystals. Dive from the top to collect all the mini crystals and then grab the key. You will have to leave the Glaive there, and that is perfectly fine.

Use the key to open the gate and pick up your Glaive. Head left, and you will find a village there.

Exploring Refuge (The Village)

Once you have reached Refuge, head left, and you will find Intermind there. What you need to do is drop down from there on the left side. This will open a shortcut, allowing you to head directly to Refuge from the spawn point. Simply hurl the Glaive straight up from where you spawn and then use the Folding mechanic to reach the village. It is that simple.

Further to the left, you will find a trash hole. You cannot fall into it unless you dive inside, so avoid doing that. If you do, you will have to give up and start a new loop. From the left side, head up, and on the right side, you will find a house with Burning Enth outside it.

To the left of the house, you will notice some small crystals. Align yourself with them, hurl the Glaive toward that area, and then use the Burning Enth to perform Folding. You will then reach a new area.

Exploring the New Areas

Vestry in Echo Weaver – Fixing the Lake Pumphouse quest.

From Vestry, head left, and you will reach a new area called Arboretum. Head left, and along the way, you will find two crystals. Upon picking up the second crystal, the platform will break. You will then fall onto the launch pad, and you can now choose to go either right or left.

On the left side, you will find some mini crystals and one regular crystal, so heading there will extend the loop. On the right side, you will find the sync area. So, sync your Glaive. After taking your Glaive, head right and then turn left. Hurl your Glaive and call it back to unlock the way. Pick up the crystal and then head right. Hurl the Glaive and use Folding. Dive down and then hurl the Glaive toward the left side.

Progressing Further With The New Mechanic

After that, call back the Glaive, and the red barrier will deactivate. This introduces a new mechanic known as Rupture. Pick up the crystal, unlock the memory, hurl your Glaive toward the right side, perform Folding, head left, and go down.

Now, hurl the Glaive toward the left side and call it back. Then, hurl it toward the left side again and call it back. The left one should have reset by now, so hurl the Glaive there again immediately.

Then, head up, and you will see that the red barrier has been removed. Hurl the Glaive through the opening and then call it back. Next, place the Glaive in the machinery, go up, activate the switch, and come back down to retrieve your Glaive. Then, proceed further ahead.

Remnant of a Weaver in Echo Weaver – Fixing the Lake Pumphouse quest.

Above the Burning Enth, you will notice an item. Hurl your Glaive toward it to reach the upper platform by using Folding. Then, pick up the item, Remnant of a Weaver. Hurl your Glaive toward the left side and perform Folding to make your way out. From there, head back to the place where you synced the Glaive and continue moving left.

From the Burning Enth, hurl your Glaive toward the left side and then perform Folding. Once you reach the other side, jump to get onto the path above.
