Unlocking the Quarry Node in Echo Weaver can feel overwhelming, but once you grasp the key mechanics, you’ll find it’s quite manageable. The exploration and puzzles are tricky, especially as you progress to the more complex sections. Many players struggle with resource management and timing, which can lead to plenty of wasted attempts before getting it right.
As you dive deeper into the game, you’re tasked with locating three nodes: the Quarry Node, Spillway Node, and Depths Node. It’s essential to prepare yourself and get to grips with the grappling hook and Glaive mechanics because they’ll be critical in reaching the Quarry Node with ease.
Before you set out, get familiar with your abilities and ensure your gear is up to par. You’ll want to have your grappling hook ready and understand the timing for the upcoming challenges, particularly when dealing with the door that closes in five seconds.
To start your journey to the Quarry Node, make your way to the village and look for an upward path on the left side. This may lead you to the pumphouse, but you won’t head that way. Instead, continue toward the right side to find a more substantial upward route.
Use your grappling hook (RT/R2) to ascend, then double-jump to the right to reach the higher platforms. Be wary of the flower platforms, as they close quickly—timing is crucial here!
Once you’re up high, you’ll need to manipulate blocks. Use the rock-pulling mechanic to reveal paths forward. Next, proceed upwards until you hit a wall and notice that the left side gives you access to grappling opportunities. Utilize the Glaive by tossing it right to hit a switch that’ll unlock the path ahead. Keep climbing until you reach the infamous timed door.
When you reach the door, it’ll be closing fast, so you need a plan to slip through. Start a new loop by sacrificing the current one, but don’t immediately call your Glaive back. Instead, do a quick Folding maneuver at the burning Enth to transport to the Ocean dimension where you can access that door. Rush to the upper-right platform using your grappling hook to dive and get through the door just in time.
As you explore the Drifting Quarry, keep an eye out for blocks to manipulate with the Glaive and points where you might need to dive or jump to unlock new routes. Make sure to keep your grappling hook handy as you will need to pull blocks and navigate tricky sections.
To locate the Quarry Node, revisit where you synced your Glaive and venture to the right. You will face a couple of blocks that will need to be cleared—use your Glaive to hurl and cause explosions. Progress along the right path, utilizing every opportunity to break blocks and handle the grappling hook functionality to navigate through closed-off spaces.
Continue to explore, and don’t forget to pick up crystals and memories along the way — they help in understanding the game lore and mechanics. But remember, you need the calibration codes before accessing the quarry node itself, so focus on finding those codes first.
Once you find the calibration frequencies, the first one you’ll discover is for Beacon 101, which is 2.718. Make a shortcut back to the first panel and input this frequency. The second can be found above as you climb up, and you can also enter 5.842 if you don’t want to hunt it down. Lastly, remember that the frequency for Beacon 102 is 9.917—not too hard to locate if you’re exploring diligently.
Simply jump and, while pointing in the direction of the rock, press R2. Once you have done that, the rock will be pulled to the side, giving you a way to move forward. From there, go ahead, follow the path upward, and head to the left side.
Progress Further to Reach the Drifting Quarry
Now, once you are on the left side, you will notice a red barrier blocking your way. So, hurl the Glaive to the right side and then call it back. After that, go ahead, jump, and pull the block. Once you have done that, use the Glaive to activate the switch, and the path ahead will be unlocked.
Now, from here, what you need to do is go ahead and head upward. As you continue going up, you will eventually reach a dead end. From there, use the grappling hook to go up on the left side, and then use it on the right side to pull the rock. After that, go up from the right side, and you will notice a door that closes in five seconds.
So, in order to get inside, you will have to make your way to the door within those five seconds.
How to Reach the Door Within 5 Seconds
This may look very complicated, but trust me, it isn’t. What you need to do is start a new loop by sacrificing the current one. Once you have done that, do not call back your Glaive. Instead, immediately head to the burning Enth and perform Folding. Then, in the middle of the process, call the Glaive back, and you will reach the other dimension, the Ocean.
Once you are there, immediately head to the upper-right platform and perform a dive. Use the grappling hook to reach it quickly. Once you have done that, you will reach the area where the door is, and you will see that it is closing. So, immediately run forward and make your way inside before it closes.
Then, head to the right, and as you proceed, you will be able to sync your Glaive to this area. Also, since you did not have enough time to extend the loop, there will be a crystal here, so make sure to pick it up.
Exploring the Drifting Quarry
Ahead of the place where you synced your Glaive, you will notice three panels, and each one will ask you for a calibration frequency. For now, head up and then go to the right. At the bottom, you will find a memory. Unlock it to learn more about the area. Then, you will discover that you can jump higher by using the trees. So, jump and make your way ahead, and you will find another memory along the way.
From there, use the trees to move forward and make your way to the right side. As you progress further, you will be able to use the grappling hook to proceed. Then, when you reach a dead end, jump first and use the grappling hook to move the block.
Once you have done that, head up, pick up the crystal, use the Glaive to break the rope, and hurl your Glaive to the other side. After that, use Folding to reach the other side. Then, go to the right, and you will meet Z, or Zaramondus. Head up to find another crystal, and you can also make your way down to reach the shrine.
Where to Find the Quarry Node
Now, in order to access the Quarry Node, head back to the place where you synced your Glaive. From there, go to the right, and this time, instead of heading up, go down to the left side using the grappling hook. However, note that you will not be able to access the Quarry Node right now because you still need the calibration codes.
So, head to the right side, where you will find two blocks blocking your way. Hurl the Glaive and call it back to cause an explosion, which will move the blocks forward. Then, head to the right and go up. Continue further to the right, hurl your Glaive to the left side, and use the burning Enth to reach that area.
Then, activate the switch and proceed further. Continue to the right side, drop down, and as you approach the end, make sure to press RT/R2 to grab the wall using the grappling hook. Then, hurl the Glaive to the right side and call it back. This will cause both blocks to move forward.
Next, go to the right side and then head up. From there, go to the left, hurl the Glaive, and call it back. The block will fall down, allowing you to use it to progress from the left side. So, go ahead, and you will find a crystal as well as a memory below it.
From there, head to the right, and the progression will be relatively simple. Just remember to use the Glaive to cause an explosion or use the grappling hook to pull the blocks whenever necessary. Continue moving forward, and you will eventually find the frequency for the third beacon.
Finding the Other Calibration Codes
Head to the top from the left side, but you will have to be smart about how you approach it. Use the blocks to your advantage and keep progressing forward. Along the way, you will find a memory. Unlock it and continue moving ahead.
If you keep going forward, you will see the calibration frequency for Beacon 101, which is 2.718. On the right side, there will be a book that you can use to get back to the area where the three panels are located. Do note that the frequency you found earlier is only for the first panel.
Now, the frequency for Beacon 102 can also be found above. However, starting from the beginning, you will have to head up and then go to the right. From there, make your way to the upper-left side. If you do not want to go there, you can simply enter 5.842 instead.
The frequency for the third beacon is 9.917.
Accessing the Quarry Node
Now, once you have entered the frequencies for all three beacons, the Quarry Node will become accessible. However, before you can proceed, you will have a conversation with Tetsa.
