Woolson Falls
When you start in the bedroom, take a moment to get comfortable with the camera controls. First, snap a quick shot of the camera manual itself, then turn around to capture the teddy bear sitting on the bed. Move over to the right of the room and photograph the cluster of images hanging next to the study table, making sure you also grab a clean shot of the calendar.
After you scan the room, Alfred will call out to you from just outside the window. Face that direction, raise your lens, and take a picture of him striking a pose to trigger the next phase of the story.
During the scenic drive, feel free to take a test shot of anything you see and chat with Alfred. Keep the conversation flowing until Alfred points out the Woolson Falls sign along the road, which is your cue to snap a photo of it.
Once the car stops, crouch down low to get a detailed close-up of the flowers blooming nearby. After that, look over to your left to capture Alfred posing for you once again.
As you move forward, frame another shot of the Woolson Falls signboards and check in with Alfred. Once Audrey expresses her gratitude, make sure to take one more photo of Alfred before moving on.
At this point, Audrey hands the camera over to Alfred, shifting your perspective into third-person. All you need to do here is follow her along the winding trail and enjoy the walk.
Keep chatting with Audrey as you hike. At the end of the path, Alfred snaps a final picture with Audrey right before the time skip. Shake the developed photo to make the image appear, then open up your journal to place the photo inside, wrapping up this chapter.
Karl’s Pump ‘N’ Mart

You will pull up to a quiet gas station to gather supplies for the long drive ahead. Your shopping list consists of cookies, fresh windshield wipers, and a handy road atlas. Step inside the mart and speak with Milton behind the counter to get started.
Pick up the red shopping basket on your left to begin gathering your items. Walk to the far right of the store to locate the windshield wipers sitting on the back shelf. Turn around and head straight to find the cookies on the opposite side of the shop.
You can grab the road atlas over by the toilet paper aisle, right near where an old photograph hangs. Once your basket is full, carry your items to the front counter and pay Milton for the supplies.
Paying Milton triggers a sudden memory sequence. When control returns, you will find yourself in a dreamlike nightmare version of the mart. Walk forward through the door, ascend the stairs, and once the sequence ends, pull out your wallet to complete the transaction with Milton in the real world.
That night, you will set up camp to rest. Spend some time organizing your album by placing the photographs you have collected. You can also take your camera out at any point to capture scenic views. Hop back in the van the next morning to head toward your next stop.
Highway Star Diner
Your first task here is tracking down Audrey’s favorite flower. Step out of your room and head straight toward the restaurant building. Turn right near your van, slip through the wooden fence, and you will find the flowers growing near the telescope. Pick a few to take with you.
For your next set of missions, head inside the restaurant that you spotted earlier. Head left inside the diner to find the jukebox where you need to play Audrey’s favorite song. Cycle through the songs here and play Green Green Grass of Home by Patti Page.
For your last mission, take a U-turn from the jukebox and head straight ahead to find the booth. Once you sit here, you’ll find out that you need special membership to use the booth.
Go speak with the waitress at the counter. Maddy gives you a small task to complete, after which she’ll allow you to use the booth. Head right after exiting the diner and go through the fence here.
Examine the hole and the trash piles at the end of the path. You will discover a dog hiding there, so pull out your camera and take a quick photo of the pup. Head back to the diner and report your find to Maddy to unlock the booth.
Slide into the booth to organize your journal and place any new photos you have taken. When prompted, take out your camera and snap a peaceful shot of the landscape outside the window.
This triggers another memory sequence. Inspect the sign hanging on the front gate first, then walk over to Audrey. Peer through the window of the diner to trigger a brief cutscene.
Open the small case in your hand, then follow Audrey as she walks ahead. Keep up with her until she sits down, then sit beside her to trigger the final conversation where you confess your feelings.
On The Road Back Home
You will return to the present day and resume your drive. When the van suddenly breaks down, step out and inspect the leaking fluid at the back of the vehicle. Next, check under the front hood, and finally, look inside the passenger side door.
Climb inside the van and grab your journal resting near the dog. Once you step back outside, walk straight down the road until you reach an old phone booth.
A cutscene will transition you into another dream. Walk straight forward through the surreal landscape and interact with the ringing telephone to wake up from the sequence.
The Sam Detour

When you wake up inside the house, read the note stuck to the door and choose a fresh shirt. Explore the house to inspect various interactive items, then head outside to find Sam waiting next to your van.
Inspect the broken parts of the van to see if you can repair it. Your solo attempt will fail, meaning you need Sam’s help. Follow Sam around the property and help her water the dry plants along the way; use the outdoor faucet to refill your watering can if it runs dry.
Follow Sam to grab the matching gaskets needed for the repair. A cutscene will show the primary repairs being completed. All that is left for you to do is use the wrench to tighten the remaining bolts to get the engine running.
Join Sam and the dog for a peaceful walk across the open fields. You can throw a stick to play fetch with the dog during the walk. Sit down with Sam at the scenic overlook and take a group selfie to save in your journal.
Captain Marley & The Buccaneers’ Retreat
Your journey leads you to an abandoned holiday resort. Peer into the entrance booth near the gate, then follow the linear path ahead to reach the main reception building.
Interact with the ticket machine at the front gate to print out a day ticket, then slide it through the turnstile to enter. Keep to the right side of the paths and duck under the collapsed structures.
Walk straight and turn left at the fork to enter the captain’s galley. Walk up the wooden stairs to trigger another dream sequence, where you must walk forward and interact with the symbolic items in your path.
Once you wake up, follow the path and use the loose wooden planks to cross the gap in the floor. On the other side, you will find a heavy set of bolt cutters which you can use to bypass locked areas.
Use your new tool to snip the lock on the balcony door, then climb down the exterior ladder. Head over to the locked Skull & Coins arcade and cut the lock. Flip the power lever inside to turn on the machines, then walk to the back to find the arcade cabinet.
