The Castle is a free DLC for Leaf it Alone, adding several new areas, activities, and achievements. You’ll encounter various tasks and collectibles as you explore, and I’m here to help you get every last one of them for 100% completion.
Gameplay feels rewarding, especially when you uncover new locations. Be mindful of the hidden collectibles and mini-games; they can trip you up if you rush through. Many players miss them by hurrying to clear leaves without investigating actively.
Before diving in, make sure you’re well-prepared! Consider clearing out your inventory to make room for collectibles and bring tools for clearing leaves in the new areas.
Unlocking some achievements will occur naturally as you traverse through different zones, while others demand a bit more effort through mini-games and item collection.
Achievements for Discovering Locations
You’ll encounter five straightforward achievements tied to exploring. As you clear leaves and navigate through the DLC, these will be unlocked along the way.
Bullseye
For the Bullseye achievement, score at least 70 points using a crossbow at the shooting range.
To find the crossbow, head outside and go up the stairs from the Courtyard, but remember to clear the Armory of leaves first so you can access it.
Once you have the crossbow, hit the targets and aim for a score of at least 70 points to achieve this goal.
Tip: If you’re struggling with aim, target the following spots:
- First row (2 targets): Aim for the yellow circle.
- Second row (3 targets): Aim for the top of the red circle.
- Third row (2 targets): Aim for the top of the blue circle.
The 67 Club
Use the crossbow again to score exactly 67 points for this achievement.
For the right score, focus on hitting the targets as follows:
- Yellow circle: 5 hits.
- Red circle: 1 hit.
- Blue circle: 4 hits.
Stick to this plan and you’ll reach exactly 67 points, unlocking the achievement.
Know Your Place
To earn this achievement, you’ll need to finish the petal-sorting task.
Clear all leaves from the Corridor first to unlock this activity, and then look for a multicolored petal sorting table.
Engage with the table and sort the petals to complete the activity for the achievement.
No Peeking!
This achievement is tied to the Memory Game located in the Dining Room.
Clear the leaves from the Dining Room to unlock the Memory Game, which you’ll find in that same area.
Once you wrap up that delightful mini-game, you’ll be rewarded with the shiny No Peeking! achievement. What a nice surprise to add to your collection!
Librarian
For this achievement, visit the Library and look for books lying on the floor.
You need to gather 6 books in total and put them back on the shelves.
Once all the books are properly shelved, you’ll receive the achievement.
Trade Master
This achievement requires careful planning. Before discarding your bag, ensure you’ve completed these steps:
- Max out Bag Capacity in the Upgrades section under Hand.
- Purchase the largest bag, which holds 800 leaves.
- Collect leaves from the following areas to raise their value:
- Terrace
- Fresco
- Shooting Range
Once you’ve completed these requirements, toss the bag in the trash to snag the Trade Master achievement.
Piece by Piece
Assemble all three mosaics scattered throughout the castle for this achievement.
Start by cleaning up leaves in the Library to kick off the mosaic assembly.
The three mosaics are found in these areas:
- Corridor
- Library
- Leaf Garden
Gather all pieces from each location to achieve this goal.
Refer back to this section for the solution to all three mosaics.

Sisyphus
This achievement involves a bit of a twist. Assemble any one of the mosaics first, then take a bag of leaves and toss it at that completed mosaic to scatter the pieces.
After the mosaic is broken, simply reassemble the scattered pieces.
Doing this will unlock Sisyphus.
You did it! You’ve officially unlocked Sisyphus. That’s a pretty nice trophy to have in your inventory!
A Little to the Right
If sliding puzzles give you anxiety, don’t fret! These ones have numbers to guide you.
The sliding puzzle activity appears once you clear the leaves from the Labyrinth. They are also located within the Labyrinth itself.
Interact with the puzzles and solve them to earn the achievement.
Below is the solution to the sliding puzzle:
Ring My Bell
I originally thought to use bags on the bell in the Armory, but you actually need a different bell found in the Library.
Climb up onto the bookshelf in the Library, grab a bag of leaves, and let it drop onto the bell below.
Important: Ensure you drop the bag from the bookshelf itself in the Library; other locations won’t provide enough force to ring the bell.
Heads up: Make sure to drop that bag off the bookshelf in the Library. If you try to drop it from other spots, like the barrels in the Armory, it won’t create enough oomph to ring the bell. It’s all in the details!
Here We Go Again…
Wrap up by clearing all leaves from the Castle. Good luck!
Poker Hand
Find all 8 hidden cards scattered around the castle for this achievement.
Each card’s location is detailed below:
First Card – Shop
Under the bottom shelf of the cabinet in the Shop, you’ll locate the first card.
Second Card – Fresco
At the Fresco, check behind the shield by the squirrel for the second card.
Third Card – Dining Room
Near the exit of the Dining Room, just before the Stairs, is where you’ll find the third card.
Fourth Card – Ruins
In the Ruins area, keep your eyes on the castle battlements (merlons), which can also be spotted from the Dining Room.
Fifth Card – Terrace
Check near the castle battlements at the Terrace to find the fifth card.
Sixth Card – Garden of Love
In the middle of the Garden of Love, look for the card resting on one of the beams.
Seventh Card – Leaf Garden
You’ll spot this card on a ledge of one of the columns in the Leaf Garden.
Eighth Card – Throne Room
The last card is situated right on the threshold of the Throne Room.
Once you’ve gathered all eight cards, you’ll be graced with the Poker Hand achievement. What a great feeling to check that off your list!
Castle Conquered
Almost there! For the final achievement, complete all the objectives listed in your diary.
Keep at it until you finish the remaining tasks. Unlock the Throne Room, and then you’ll receive the Castle Conquered achievement.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed The Castle DLC and unlocked all its achievements.
