Make your way to The Thieves’ Camp
After you defeat Jing Ye, move forward and drop down. You’ll notice a bridge leading towards a small outpost.
Before you cross that bridge, be sure to drop down once more to discover a Memory Flower from the On Perfect Transcension collection.
Initiate The Secrets Of The Baishan Sect Tale
Go back up and cross the bridge. At the end, you’ll find two sisters. Talk to the sister wearing blue, and she’ll mention her other sister hasn’t come back from the mountain lodge.
This interaction will trigger The Secrets of the Baishan Sect Tale, with a quest marker appearing to guide you further east.
Finish the Honor Among Thieves Tale
Upon entering the camp, check the tent to your right where you will find the thief you need to speak to. When you approach him, he’ll inquire about the Nimble Thief.
Since you’ve likely explored thoroughly, you should have already encountered the Nimble Thief—the enemy from whom you obtained the Blood Letter.
Even after showing the letter, the thief remains skeptical and decides to assess your knowledge about the Nimble Thief by asking three questions.
Don’t fret; the answers to these questions can all be found in the letter. If you answer incorrectly, you can talk to the thief again for another chance.
Here are the correct answers to his questions:
Q: What did the Nimble Thief do at age thirteen?
A: Stole a patron’s jade belt.
Q: What did the head of the hairpin resemble?
A: It looked like a butterfly.
Q: What became of the poor family’s child?
A: The letter did not specify the child’s fate; it remains unknown.
Answering correctly will earn the thief’s trust. He’ll express sadness over the Nimble Thief’s fate and wants to repay your kindness.
Your reward is the Silent Wrap, which decreases noise from footsteps and assassinations by 50%.
Interact with The Crane Bell
At the Thieves’ Camp, there’s a Crane Bell you should interact with to trigger another flashback, this time from a year ago, showing Zuo Shang conversing with Huangxing.
Zuo Shang is seen scheming to disrupt the operation in the Crimson Forest.
His plan involves making Master Yuyin disappear in exchange for delivering the Chord. Both would gain a significant advantage in power.
Zuo Shang has been a traitor for quite some time, a fact we were never aware of. According to what we’ve seen in these memories, his ambition was to oppose the Mandate and seize power.
Start A Healer’s Mercy Tale
To your surprise, you’ll find that Yu’er has reached her destination. She couldn’t risk staying longer. During your chat, opt for the dialogue choice “The Wounded in the Woods”.
With the medicine that Yu’er provided, she managed to save the lives of multiple people. However, the wounded have now all gathered at the camp, with some still hiding in the forest.
Yu’er hands you the Yu’er Life-Saving Pill, and the thief provides you with a map highlighting the four thieves’ hiding spots.
Advance in A Healer’s Mercy Tale
Location of Li the “Flying Rat”
The nearest thief can be found just west of the camp. Fast travel to the Outlaw Trap Bell, then enter the cave ahead.
Locate the wounded thief lying on the ground and interact with him to give him the pill, thus saving his life.
Location of Zhou the “Lean Monkey”
Another thief can be found in the underground passage near the Outlaw Trap Bell. Make your way down to the area where you discovered Quick Hand’s treasure chest. You’ll find the thief leaning against the wall.
Progress The Wily Hare’s Three Dens Collectible Quest: Crimson Forest Hideout
Back at the Thieves’ Camp, head west to encounter a thief seated on the ground. Speaking to him will lead you to Quick Hand Zhang’s hideout, located just behind him.
He also provides a tip on finding Quick Hand’s other hideouts: look for a throwing knife stuck with copper coins that emits a unique sound to help identify their locations.
For now, jump up and open the door, then enter the cave to meet Quick Hand Zhang. He’ll reward you with the Quick Hand Pendant for rescuing him earlier.
This pendant boosts damage from one-handed weapons by 10%, making it quite valuable.
You can also purchase various upgrade materials from Quick Hand Zhang, and all items will be added to your Bell store, so you won’t need to backtrack for essentials.
Begin The Quick Hand’s Request Collectible Quest: Crimson Desert
During your conversation, choose the “Relics across the land” dialogue option. Quick Hand Zhang has another task for Soul—finding unique relics hidden across Wulin.
Each region contains its own collection of treasures that he’s interested in. After Soul collects all items for a particular set, he can return to Quick Hand’s hideout in that area to exchange them for a reward.
Note that you first need to discover the hideout in each area to receive its treasure list and rewards.
You might already possess some of the treasures from your exploration, but you’ll need to seek out the rest before returning to that region’s hideout to complete the set.
Leave The Thief’s Camp
Exit the hideout and head west. From the cliff, you’ll notice one of the Order soldiers on the prowl below in the stream.
Follow the path through the cave where you’ll discover another Memory Flower from the On Perfect Transcension set.
Quick Hand’s Request Collectible Quest: Crimson Desert, First Treasure
Venturing deeper into the cave, defeat the enemies in your path, then open the green chest to your left. Here, you’ll find Bloodstained Steal, a treasure for Quick Hand’s quest.
Whenever you discover a green chest like this, it will contain a relic that contributes to the Quick Hand’s Request Collectible Quest.
Unlock The Forest Outpost Courtyard Door
Continue through the cave until you come outside and back to the forest. Behind you, you’ll see a group of enemies fighting, along with a collectible to gather.
In front of you, the door can’t be opened from this side, so utilize the stairs to the side to keep moving forward. Head up, and you’ll face some more enemies.
Defeat them to receive the Apprentice Healer’s Memory, which is used for upgrading medicines. You can skip this for now, as medicine upgrades will be unavailable until later in the game.
Collect A Blackstone Shard
Enter the house with the red lantern and open the chest inside to find a Blackstone Shard.
Get The Forest Outpost Courtyard Door Key
Go to the house that features a torch and stairs. Inside, pick up the Forest Outpost Courtyard Door Key from the table. Use this key to access the door below.
Return downstairs and use the key to unlock the door. Then, interact with the Bell to reveal the surrounding map and save your game progress.
Reach The Cliff Of Longing Bell
Climb up the hill, and you’ll hear a scream coming from the house ahead. That’s your next destination.
Cross the wooden bridge and ascend the stairs. Stay stealthy to assassinate the enemies you encounter. Continue climbing the rocks and make your way up to the Bell overlooking the Village of Lu.
Activate the Bell to reveal more of the map. You can also interact with the puppets in the area if you feel like it.
