The atmosphere darkens as Red Walker ventures into the Sewers, searching for the last Cable Station Bell. Finding it is essential to access the Cable Car to ascend to Mt. Siah Kopa, but dangers linger beneath the surface. This section can catch you off guard, especially if you’re not ready for the fights that await.

You’ll come across a whole lot of monster action and challenges in the Sewers. Getting lost is easy, and you might spend precious resources, so make sure to stock up on health items and weapons before you head down.

Be sure to bring your trusty gear, like a reliable weapon and plenty of health supplies, before plunging into the darkness of the Sewers.

Key sections you’ll encounter include:

  • Obtaining the Sewers Map
  • Opening the Sluice Gate
  • Opening the Flow Control Valves
  • The Sewers Boss Fight
  • Taking a Ride to the Stars
  • Navigating Mt. Siah Kopa
  • Obtaining the Two 40 A Fuses

Obtaining the Sewers Map is your first task. The Sewers consist of obstructed tunnels hidden beneath Downtown. You’ll find various entry points, although many will be blocked.

Start at the Pet Clinic to the east. Break the board on the right; it’s a familiar area if you’ve cleared the Church Hill section before.

Descend the stairs. The south staircase leads you to the Docks. For now, head east and take the gate to the north.

Get a glimpse of a Cable Station Bell through a door ahead, but it’s bolted shut. A frustrating tease!

Leave this area and go down to the Docks. Move left to find a door leading to the Sewer System.

Cross the bridge past the door to reach the Sluice Gate Mechanism. Here, you’ll notice a Cog is missing, so you’ll need a Crank Handle to activate it once you find the Cog.

Leave the area and go down to the Docks. Go left from here. You’ll see a door leading to the Sewer System up ahead.

Continue past the door across the bridge to find a Sluice Gate Mechanism.

There’s a Cog missing in the mechanism. You’ll need the Crank Handle to activate the mechanism once you find the Cog.

Head into the Sewer System to grab the map from the table on the left, revealing all entrances and tunnels in the Sewers.

There’s a tunnel you can enter, but the water level is too high to reach it now.

Opening the Sluice Gate requires some work. Return to the area outside the Pet Clinic and enter through the manhole cover.

Inside, find the Heavy Mechanical Cog on the left. Don’t forget to unlock the nearby door to connect this area with the rest of the Sewers.

Next, return to the Sluice Gate Mechanism. Insert the Heavy Mechanical Cog correctly and align the movable cogs so that the big Cog on the right rotates.

Enter the Sewer System Gate in the Docks, and speak with the Sheriff before proceeding inside.

The water level has lowered, allowing you to jump to the pipe above and move forward.

Make your way past the inert creatures, which won’t attack yet. Look out for the Sewer Key that’s stuck on one of them. Grab it!

Once you have the key, be ready for a monster ambush. Fight them off!

Backtrack and use the Sewer Key to unlock the gate to the north.

Defeat the creature blocking the next gate, giving you access to the Silver Gazette office and Loomis Park.

Opening the Flow Control Valves is the next step. You need to locate three of them in different areas of the Sewers.

Flow Control Valve A is your first target. Unlock the shortcut and head east to find the entrance to the valve.

Go through the doorway to the north and turn left to vault over the pipe, taking care of the monster on the other side.

Flow Control Valve A

Crouch through the pipe on your left to reach Flow Control A. Interact with it to open the valve.

Flow Control Valve C comes next. After activating Valve A, continue east and jump into the right pipe to crawl forward.

This will lead you outside near the Quiet Hours Cafe. Go right through the broken drain pipe to re-enter the Sewers.

Now you’re returned to the hatch near where the Cable Station Bell was. Activating all the Flow Control Valves allows you to control the pressure.

In this area, you’ll notice a Safety Notice Note that warns against excessive pressure in the system. Head up the north stairs.

The east door leads back to the platform below the dam at the Quiet Hours Cafe.

To the right is a locked door with a red glow, hinting at a boss encounter inside. Head through the Staff Only door.

You’ll find a safe room here with a control panel indicating the status of all the Flow Control Valves. Save your progress and proceed through the north gate.

Go left to encounter a broken bridge. You’ll spot a Diary Page stuck below. Jump across to reach the other side.

Keep going left to find a clipboard on the ground. It holds the code for the mysterious door: 1467.

On your right, you’ll spot a combination-locked door to the right. The red glow on the other side tells you that there’s a boss battle on the other side of it. Head through the door marked Staff Only.

This takes you to a safe room. The contol panel on the left shows you the status of all the Flow Control Valves. Save your progress and head through the gate to the north.

Open the Flow Control C Valve, which connects back to the outside of the Cable Car Station.

Flow Control Valve B requires attention. Return to the glowing door and enter using the code (1467) you found. Make any last-minute preps in the safe room.

Drop down the ledge and head all the way to the right to find Flow Control B Valve. Opening it triggers the boss fight.

The Sewers Boss Fight can be tough, especially if you lean towards melee combat. The boss has a poisonous aura, so be sure to bring plenty of Antidotes.

Climb down the ledge and go all the way to the right to find the Flow Control B Valve. Open it to trigger the boss fight.

Taking a Ride to the Stars comes next. Return to the hatch near the Cable Station Bell . Rotate the valves to max pressure on all three.

When ready, wait for the hatch to explode and proceed inside.

Upon entering, the Sheriff will attack you. Follow the button prompts to defeat him and claim the powerful .44 Magnum.

Grab the Cable Station Bell (E), the final piece needed to operate the Cable Car.

Return to the Cable Car Station and insert the five bells into their designated slots. Following the order on the plaque above, call for the Cable Car .

Get inside the Cable Car when you’re ready and journey towards Mt. Siah Kopa. The end of your quest is nearing.

You’ll find optional items near the safe room, like a Hip Bag, which can help with inventory space. Move right after exiting the safe room and take the southern pathway.

As you enter the chamber to the right, the Sheriff will pin you down and try to choke you. Follow the button prompts to take him out. You can grab the .44 Magnum, the most powerful pistol in the game, from him once the fight is over.

Grab the Cable Station Bell (E) hanging on the right. This is the final one we need to ride the Cable Car.

Make your way back to the Cable Car Station and insert the five bells in their correct slots. Then interact with the bells in the order shown on the plaque above to call the Cable Car.

Get into the Cable Car when you’re ready and head to Mt. Siah Kopa. We’re in the end game now.

Navigating Mt. Siah Kopa

There’s a safe room door just up ahead to the right after getting off the Cable Car. Head inside and save your progress.

The Hip Bag mentioned earlier is located to the left and down from the entrance to the Cable Car Station at Mt. Siah Kopa.
