The Cursed Monarch is a rare pet categorized under Divine rarity, added during the Halloween season in Steal an Egg. You’ll get this pet by utilizing the Divine Fuse, a special machine found within the Abandoned Manor. Accessing the machine requires first getting the key to the manor’s entrance.
To work towards acquiring the Cursed Monarch, you need to start by unlocking the Abandoned Manor.
How to unlock the Divine Fuse
The Divine Fuse resides within the Abandoned Manor, which appeared with the Halloween event. Before accessing it, you should complete Echo’s questline to acquire the Ticket for the Phantom Express. This train arrives approximately every 30 minutes, so be ready to jump on it once it shows up at the station and travel to the event location.
After arriving, move directly past the large tree until you spot a lake with a massive whirlpool. Approach this whirlpool, as it leads to a secret area where you’ll find Gus, a fisherman. He accidentally dropped the manor’s key into the water. Use your fishing rod around the area until you reel in the Key. Then, take the large sewer pipe back to the entrance of the Abandoned Manor.
Unlock the manor entrance with the Key. Once opened, the door will stay unlocked for the entire event duration, allowing you to return anytime to use the Divine Fuse.
How to get Cursed Monarch from the Divine Fuse
Inside the Abandoned Manor, find the Divine Fuse. To initiate the fusion, you’ll need to provide this machine with four pets.
Your choice of pets is crucial, as the Divine Fuse produces a Divine Egg which you can hatch into the Cursed Monarch.
One recommended combination involves using two Ghost Fish and two Void Seer Pumpkins. It’s wise to verify the full list of required pets and their specific combinations before attempting fusion.
How to Obtain Ghost Fish
You can catch Ghost Fish by fishing in the Corrupted Realm, although they are not easy to find. It may take some time to catch the number you need.
Make sure you have both Ghost Fish before you begin assembling your fusion ingredients.
How to Obtain Void Seer Pumpkins
Look for Void Seer Pumpkins linked to the Void Seer Pumpkin Egg that appears sporadically in the Corrupted Realm.
Keep an eye out for the egg while exploring. If you find it, you can use the stealing mechanic to grab it. Make sure to reach a safe zone before opening it. You’ll need two Void Seer Pumpkins for the fusion recipe mentioned earlier.
