Restoring the facility power in End of Abyss is your primary goal after clearing the Husk Cluster. You need to push past Factory East, grab the Factory Keycard, and manually engage the Power Cells to get the core running again.
The tunnels here are tight, and it is incredibly easy to waste your limited ammo on enemies that are just playing dead. Keep your guard up constantly, as the environment is designed to punish players who rush blindly into new zones.
Before you commit to this run, make sure you have checked your inventory for any spare Fragments to upgrade your weapon at a workbench. Having a slightly stronger gun makes handling the surprise encounters in the lower tunnels much less stressful.

Obtaining the Factory Keycard
When you step off the Shuttle, Soldier C-12 will radio you with instructions to head east. Note that the door on your right along the steel walkway is locked from the other side, so ignore the weapon inside for now.
You cannot grab that gear quite yet, so keep moving.
Proceed forward into the right-hand room where you can find a Restoration Pod and Workbench inside a safe room. The door at the bottom of this area needs the Factory Keycard, so do not get hung up on it yet.
Grab the Fragments from the Item Box on the floor before exiting through the door to the right.
Dispose of the Infected Worker in your path and walk toward the large, automated door that slides open as you approach.
Follow the main path toward the Reactor, but notice the Reactor Core entrance is currently sealed. Search near the body to pick up the Factory Keycard and use your Scanner on the nearby panel to get an update from Soldier C-12.
Head back toward the safe room area and look for the door on the left, near the ladder.
Inside this space, you will find Complex Alloy and some Fragments, which are essential for your weapon upgrades. Keep an eye on the wall to the left for a Weak Structure you might need later.
Save your progress at the safe room, then exit through the door at the bottom right to enter Factory East.
Entering the Ventilation Tunnels
Descend the stairs, which triggers Cel to activate her Flashlight automatically. Follow the path leading to the right.
You will enter a pipe-filled room teeming with Infected Workers, so stay sharp with your weapon raised. Move downward and turn right until you find an open door at the base of the stairs.
Climb the ladder, but watch out for monsters lunging at you during the ascent. Once you are up, head through the door on the left.
Sprint across the steel walkway and take a right turn at the fork in the road.
Enter the small room ahead, but pause before moving left to eliminate any enemies lurking below. Make sure to scan the note here for lore before you proceed.
Exit through the left door to reach the upper area outside the safe room, then interact with the ladder to drop it for a permanent shortcut. Proceed through the door on the right to continue.
Follow the winding path until you officially arrive at the Ventilation Tunnels.
Reaching the Reactor Core
This is a sprawling zone, though you can only explore a small slice of it right now. Take your time, as the interconnected tunnels are mostly filled with minor pests rather than major threats.
Keep an eye out for Parasitic Fleas, which are the only real enemies you will face here. Explore every corner carefully, as missing loot here will hurt your progression.
The most crucial find here is the Health Booster; you can see the location in the image above. While there is a ladder leading elsewhere in Factory East, you do not need to take it yet.
Kill the Parasitic Fleas and loot the body to secure the Health Booster, which doubles your current healing capacity.
Once you are finished, follow the path toward the Reactor Core and head down the ladder.
Pick up the Grenade from the floor, as this new craftable item is excellent for dealing High Impact damage to tougher targets.
Keep moving forward and head up through the door. I recommend popping into the room on your right to use the safe room and record your progress.
Continue along the main path to initiate a cutscene as you finally arrive at the Reactor Core.
Enter through the door at the base of the structure and take the elevator up to the control level.
Try using the control panel, but the system will fail to boot. Soldier C-12 will then instruct you to manually activate the Power Cells located below the core.
Activating the Power Cells
Descend via the elevator and circle around the walkway to find a second elevator that takes you even deeper.
Follow the dark corridor and check the body near the path for some Fragments before heading right.
Activate the first Power Cell you find here and loot the nearby Item Box for extra Fragments.
Head back to the main room and observe the locked door with red lights; you cannot enter this yet, as it requires interaction with the Security System.
Turn left and keep moving until you see a centipede-like creature on the wall; don’t worry, it is passive and won’t attack you.
Walk past the elevator to reach a door, heading through it first to clear the area.
Activate the second Power Cell inside, then return to the elevator and descend further.
Accessing the Security System
Exit the elevator and clear the right-hand section. Don’t forget to use the safe room in the bottom-right corner and check the locker for more Fragments before heading through the upper door.
The path is straightforward from here, but stay alert. Always shoot at downed bodies to ensure they aren’t just waiting to jump you.
When facing Infected Reactor Workers, target the explosive tank on their backs to take them down with a single well-placed shot.
Collect the Small Fragment Chunk from the room before moving through the door to your right.
Be extremely careful here; two Husks will ambush you if you sprint ahead. Backtrack immediately when they spawn to isolate them and defeat them one by one.
You will see an open door on the right near a set of steps. Go through the left door first to stay on track.
Prepare for two Chest Huggers, which are incredibly fast and will drain your health with their grab attack. Use the Riot Breaker or a Grenade to exploit their weakness to High Impact damage, and grab the Fragment Chunk on the far right.
Exit the room and descend the steps, dealing with any remaining Chest Huggers along the way.
At the top of the short stairs, you will find a fork; turn left first.
Run across the watery room and flip the Lever to unlock the door on the left, creating a shortcut back to your earlier safe room.
Return to the fork, head down, and loot the body for Fragments before proceeding through the left door.
Watch for another Infected Reactor Worker playing dead just past the steps and eliminate it before it can catch you off guard.
Keep pushing forward until you cross the bridge, where you must take down one final Infected Reactor Worker standing in your way.
