Arriving at Room B on Floor 3 of Ivan’s Apartment , you’ll first notice the oppressive atmosphere. Interact with the elevator, which will whisk you up while Julia reflects on her past.
Once you disembark on Floor 3, head right and interact with the door to Room B. You’ll find Ivan unresponsive. Use the Apartment Key from your inventory to enter and explore his disheveled living space.
Inside Ivan’s Apartment, it’s clear something unsettling has occurred. The place is a mess, with the study door marked by a disturbing red symbol, which you’ll need to deal with later.
First, head to the far right and collect the Old Book near the Bedroom door; engaging with it reveals only Page 9. Move into the bedroom next.
Check the curtains on the right side. Although the window is boarded up, the bottom board can be removed with the right tool. Next, grab the Glass from the cabinet near the lamp.
Proceed into the Kitchen from the living room. There’s limited interaction here, but be sure to inspect the yellow Fuse Box and check the oven. The fridge holds Developing Chemical , which you’ll find useful.
In front of the cracked mirror, open your inventory and use the Glass to create Glass with Blood.
Combine Glass with Blood and Developing Chemical for Glass with Chemical and Blood, a key item for progressing.
Return to the Bedroom and use the Wrench to break the bottom board on the window, allowing sunlight to flood in. Use the Glass with Chemical and Blood next to the window to create Auritsatio.
Stand before the Study door and apply the Auritsatio to melt the red seal. You can save your progress upon entering; be sure to examine everything carefully.
In this room, you’ll find a TV Remote with no batteries, a Cellphone on the floor, and a Green Candle that you can pick up.
Upon leaving the study, you’ll notice changes in the living room. The doors now bear different colors and symbols. Grab the Lavendoleum, an important healing item, lying by the bookshelf.
As you prepare to exit, a live-action cutscene begins with a monster bursting into the apartment. Use your Wrench to dispatch it.
Making your way out, stop to notice a symbol on the elevator door, then take the ride down to Floor 2 to trigger yet another cutscene.
When the cutscene concludes, you’ll find yourself in possession of a Lighter, and the Green Candle will appear on the elevator floor.
Exiting the elevator on Floor 2, another monster awaits in the hallway. The door to your left is locked, so head right into Room B.
The interior resembles Ivan’s Apartment, complete with familiar layouts. An X-Ray is lying near the bookcase; pick it up.
- There’s a TV Remote with no batteries on the table to the right.
- The Cellphone on the floor to the right also has no charge.
- Check the writing on the wall. You’ll pick up the Green Candle from the floor as you do so.
- Finally, check the clothes rack on the right.
When you’re ready to move on, leave the Study. The scene in the Living Room has changed by now. The doors to the Bathroom, Kitchen, and Bedroom are now in different colors with strange symbols on them. Grab the bottle of Lavendoleum (Healing Item) from the floor next to the bookshelf.
As you’re about to leave the apartment, Julia notices that the door is open. This triggers a live-action cutscene.
The cutscene ends with a monster rushing in to attack you. Take it down using your Wrench.
Leave the apartment. Note the strange symbol on the door to the left of the elevator. Enter the elevator and go to Floor 2 to trigger another cutscene.
When the cutscene ends, you’ll have the Lighter in your inventory. The Green Candle will also be placed on the floor of the elevator.
Room B Floor 2 – Ivan’s Old Apartment
Next, head to the Bathroom. After pulling back the curtains, expect an ambush from a monster — take it out. Then, grab the Battery from the tub.
In the Kitchen, gather a Scissor Blade from the countertop along with another bottle of Lavendoleum. Inspect the washing machine, as well as the Fuse Box on the wall, but beware of the power outage that follows.
Returning to the Study, you’ll find it cleaner than on Floor 3. Check the chest on the left for a Film Canister, a Revolver with ammo, and a Glove from the clothes rack.
Solving Floor 2 Pressure Plate/TV Puzzle
Head to the Bathroom and interact with the bathtub curtains. A monster will ambush you at this point. Take it down. Then grab the Battery from the bathtub.
Enter the Kitchen next. Grab the Scissor Blade from the countertop along with the Lavendoleum. Inspect the washing machine. There’s something inside. Then interact with the Fuse Box. The power goes out at this point. But the washing machine still hasn’t turned off.
Leave the Kitchen and head into the Study next. It’s in much better shape than the one on Floor 3. Check the chest on the left wall to find the Film Canister along with a Revolver and some ammo, and the cloth rack to find a Glove.
Use the Glove near the Fuse Box to turn off the washing machine, after which a monster will flee from the kitchen. Check the machine again for another Battery.
Leave the apartment and return to the Elevator, riding back to Floor 3. Prepare for several monsters you’ll encounter in the way back.
Stand by the TV Remote and insert both Batteries into it. Interacting with the remote will finally turn the TV on.
With the TV on, return to Room B on Floor 2 and approach the TV. Watch for the symbols appearing on screen and activate the pressure plates in that order. Getting it wrong will require you to retry, as this puzzle is randomized.
Entering the Bedroom will trigger another live-action cutscene.
Engage in conversation with the blood-covered figure, Sanguis, who reveals insights about the strange happenings in the apartment. He mentions that this place is now a chaotic fusion of Ivan’s Memories.
Sanguis will speak of a creature that is “invisible in the light but visible in the dark.” He’ll pass you an Aqua Vitae, a healing item, before you leave.
Create a way to the new area by passing through the Bedroom’s window near Sanguis. Here, you’ll find an eerie space filled with candles and a rectangular slot beside the window.
Attempt grabbing the Red Candle, but it won’t budge. Instead, pick up the Triangular Stone from the ground and return through the window.
Stand before the Blue Door next to the elevator and use the Triangular Stone to unlock it.
Once inside, you’ll encounter inanimate figures on chairs, seemingly waiting. Take note of the door marked A.S. with a key stuck in the lock.
The symbol disappears, and you can head inside. You can use the same Triangular Stone to unlock other Blue Doors you find from this point onwards.
This takes you to a room with inanimate people standing on chairs, seemingly waiting for something. Inspect the door with A.S. written on it to the left. There’s a key stuck in the keyhole on the other side.
While facing the A.S. door, equip the X-Ray and place it against the door. Follow up by using the Scissor Blade to remove the key.
This will yield the A.S. Key. Use it to unlock the door and step inside.
This will give you the A.S. Key. Use it to unlock the door and head in.
